Be forewarned: this could be...

I should be doing O.T. right now.  When I say should, I cannot overestimate the impact of this statement.  I have 3 or 4 chapters to summarize.  And yet, I cannot.  Oh well...

I found out that another girl [not necessarily a 'friend', per se... but someone who I never really hated or liked... we just 'were'.] of my age is married.  That brings the total to two, or perhaps three.  It's a very weird feeling, especially because one of the girls I really used to like.
I mean, seriously.  In 8th grade, I joined jazz band because she gave me "the look" while begging me to.  9th grade was the pinnacle... and then I moved.  Later, I found out she had a crush on me during that time.  Being the keen observer I am, I just never picked up on the signs.  I suppose that would add to the oddness just a bit.  She's... married.  I mean, I don't know why it's so odd.  Friends of mine who are older are getting married, and that doesn't seem as weird... usually.  Hmmmm...

On another note, the U.S.A. lost to Canada today... in the World BASEBALL Classic.  It would be one thing if we lost to Canada in curling... [oh wait, we did] but... BASEBALL?!?!?! There is something that just seems so wrong about that.  Not un-american, per se.  Just wrong.  Wrong like... having your best friend steal your girlfriend, and then having your mom be happy about it [just an example, no real life story... at the moment]

p.s.  I once had a friend, who I talked to almost every day [especially during Christmas Break].  I never wanted to lose them, but due to my own... [insert best word for incompetence here] I may have. :( *sighs*  Que triste... yo pienso.

Anyways, Small Group to finish planning.  I'm out.

Sweet dentures of George Washington!

Yeah, it's been a while.  I know.

I'm in California right now, for those of you who don't know... staying over at the uncle's house.  It's fairly excellent.
The family [Mom, Dad, Pedro, Mark, John] all left just a minute ago... it was really weird seeing them for like 2 weeks, and knowing that I'm not going to see them again until mid-May at the earliest.  Cool, but weird.  It's weird not to be the 'black sheep' of the family for once, also.

Anywho, I'm going to the Rose Parade tomorrow. It should be fairly sweet, and I'll try to take some pictures with my new digital camera. I know you can't tell, but I'm pretty happy about that.  Gotta get going to Pasedena early [5:15] to beat traffic though, so... I'm out. Hahahaha the Rams just bounced a field goal off the crossbar! [Sorry, watching a wee bit of football on the side too.]
Ok, now I'm really gone.

Psalm 51 [modified, not paraphrased]

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in my house, yo;
    praise Him in Kachemak Bay.
Praise Him for Tuma;
    praise Him for children.
Praise Him with the sounding of the tuba,
    praise Him with the strijkbass and piccolo,
praise Him with rototoms and streaking,
    praise Him with Michael and sports,
praise Him with airhorn,
    praise Him with flame.
Let everything that inspires praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.

I love personalization :).

Shoot the gangster and get a free ringtone?  WTF?  Seriously... wow.  Way to put a stereotypical 50 Cent lookin' guy up on the screen, and tell me to shoot him.  What's he done?  Nothing that I can see.  It's like, "Oh no... it's a scary looking black man!  He'll definitely shoot me, since that's what they ALL do... so I better get him first?" There is something seriously wrong with that.

Gar.... that frustrates me.  It's like living in Homer all over again, to some extent.

[Not only is he angry, but he has a unibrow.  Do NOT screw with this smiley under any circumstances.]

There will be a happy post sometime soon, I promise.

[EDIT] If they wanted to be accurate, it'd be gangsta.  I doubt that's high on the priority list, though.

And it's 2:02... and will be the earliest I've been to bed in 2 weeks.

Life rules, for the most part.... I may be over-extending myself, but... it hasn't caught up to me quite yet, so it's all good.  As for the rest... it is assuredly and undoubtedly still the rest.

I hate feeling [insert best guess here, I'm not even sure what it is]...
